We value trust, honesty, cooperation, and respect. We encourage openness and authenticity. We strive to empower everyone – both our employees and clients. For us, quality matters more than quantity. We are happy about the achievements that we, our clients, and all the other parties involved in the field have earned. What we find important is the joy of life, a detached perspective, and humor. We encourage curiosity and creativity.

We care about our people. We value them and support their mental and physical well-being. recognise the value of their work and support them in their development. We provide them with the space and opportunities for personal and professional fulfilment, we are constantly learning, and we see mistakes as stepping stones to growth.

What we do to make you feel good here

A friendly environment with flexible working hours to help you find your work-life balance.

The wellbeing of our employees is essential

  • Apart from regular supervision, our employees have access to an external consultant to prevent burnout. She provides them with support in dealing with work-related issues and relationships.
  • We also have an HR consultant.

We place emphasis on personal and professional development

  • In addition to mandatory and professional training, we offer in-house development programs that include soft skills training and individual development plans.
  • Our employees are offered 3 days off to attend a personal development program according to their preferences.

We support relaxation, a healthy lifestyle, and a comfortable working environment

  • In addition to 5 weeks of annual leave, our employees may use up to 3 sick days per year for short-term sickness absence.
  • We value long-term collaboration, which is why we offer senior benefits to colleagues who have been with us for a long time.
  • Our employees can also benefit from the MultiSport card, which is mostly covered by META.
  • We encourage organizing meetings outside the office and/or in the fresh air.
  • We create a platform for informal meetings for those who are interested.

Volunteers

Are you interested in the topics of migration and/or education? Would you like to support families with a migration experience and their children in managing schoolwork, settling into a new school, communicating in Czech and understanding Czech culture? Do you like the Czech language, physics, mathematics, or other school subjects? Do you like organizing games, trips, or creative workshops? Do you have skills you could pass on to others around you?

Join our team of volunteers. You can give extra classes to multilingual students, who would otherwise have a hard time following school classes or preparing for high school entrance exams, help organize free-time activities, or become a mentor!

Extra classes (in-person or online)

Help elementary or high school students with Czech, English, mathematics, or other school subjects. You can help them understand the content covered in school, deal with the Czech grammar, or get ready for entrance exams. Extra classes are taught individually or in groups, most often at public libraries, online, or at META’s premises. They usually take place on working days in the afternoon or evening, the specific time being subject to individual agreement.

Free-time activities

Get involved in the planning and organization of free-time activities, such as trips or (creative) workshops. These events serve as a platform where multilingual children can meet their Czech peers, improve their Czech proficiency, and build a positive relationship with the place where they live. We have a free-time club that meets once a week during the school year. You can also help organize one-time activities or trips that usually take place on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday.
