We are commenting on the issue of the education and inclusion of children whose access to a full education in Czech schools is hindered by a language barrier. These include both foreign children and pupils, as well as children with Czech citizenship with no or insufficient knowledge of the Czech language. We point out the shortcomings in legislation that complicate the successful inclusion of these children, not only for them but also for the schools that educate them, and we propose solutions.
