High school entrance exam preparation course

The main focus of the course is preparation for the Czech language didactic test, which is part of the unified high school entrance exams for applicants to programmes with Matura exam (“maturita”)

Basic Information

For whom

Multilingual students who will be applying to secondary school programmes with the Matura exam during the 2026/2027 school year and have a minimum Czech language level of A2.

When

October 2026–April 2027

Course Scope

35 lessons (twice a week, 90 minutes)

Price

Free of charge (refundable deposit of CZK 2,000)

Students will work with the typical exam tasks and practise the language skills needed to complete it successfully. The course will also cover effective test-taking strategies.

Students will have the opportunity to try their skills during a mock entrance exam in one of the final lessons.

After registration

The course coordinator will send you a Czech placement test.
If your Czech language level matches the requirements of the course, you will be invited to a meeting. At the meeting, you will need to pay the refundable deposit and could then join the course.
